Project Description

All assets and scripts used are original assets, except for what the Unity engine itself provides, such as any rendering or tile-map functionality.

The demo features three levels, four characters, multi-player, various enemies, levels, power-ups, and many more.

Alongside 20+ other classmates, I was responsible for enemy design, programming the spider enemy specifically, and other miscellaneous design & coding details.

The goals for this project were thus:

  • It was to be a learning exercise socially, to try and introduce to us the experience of working in larger teams

  • To learn how to effectively manage and work within larger team sizes

  • Use our previously acquired skillsets to design and create a compelling game over the course of a semester, given the theme of “contra-like”

This project served as the final for the GAME 410 course at GMU.
